Creating Beautiful Custom Baby Shower Invitations

Who doesn’t love a newborn? Fresh from heaven, so sweet, so pure. I am going to be an aunt in March and as soon as I found that out, I immediately offered my design services to my brother and sister-in-law.

Process

This project had a pretty simple process. I talked with my sister-in-law before starting and asked what kind of feel she wanted for the shower. Simple and cute were her requests, along with gold, pink, and white for the baby girl coming soon.

I made everything in Adobe Illustrator. The design was based on the above Pinterest boards. I used Jasmine for the titles and accents, and Futura Condensed for the body copy. Due to time constraints, I purchased the flower designs from Creative Market. (I plan on making my own flower vector pack in the future.)

Printing was done through MOO – which I highly recommend. I ordered envelopes to match the small post card size, then made these additional cards at the request of my sister-in-law (gotta get those diapers!).
