The Final Countdown

This is it—my last semester of college. Apparently BYU-Idaho thinks I am now ready to be a full-fledged adult and enter the working world. Part of me is ready to take the plunge while the other part is holding on to college for dear life. No matter how I feel, I am graduating and this semester has been the perfect one to end on.

About My Favorite Class

Comm 316 was a class I had been looking forward to for over a year. It is a Professional Imaging class and it does more than just teach you about photography, it teaches you how to take your passion and make a living doing what you love. I love photography and this portfolio shows some of my favorite images from the semester.

These images show my personal style that I worked to develop this semester. I would say my style is pretty balanced between photo-journalistic and artistic, with a little more lean toward the artistic side. I like to keep things clean and beautiful. These images are some of my best because they show how I can control many different kinds of lighting, how I compose images, and how I edit the photos to make them pop and become interesting.
